ロレックスオーキッド、20年近く製造された名品カメレオンです。1965年製のこちらは珍しいケースです。ダイヤモンドカットされたガラスはよく見ますが、ケースにカッティングを施してある、意欲作です。どこかの面が必ず光を集めますので、角度を変えるとキラキラとし、視覚的に楽しませてくれる造形です。シルバーのサンレイダイアルにアルファハンドの組み合わせが、素晴らしくマッチングしています。

ケースは打痕や擦り傷が見られず、素晴らしいコンディションを維持しています。ケースのファセットは一つ一つが光を美しく反射し、高い完成度を感じさせます。ダイヤルはエイジングの兆候がなく、シルバーの輝きをしっかりと保っており、ロゴも鮮明に残っています。インデックスは、傷やくすみが一切なく、見事な状態を誇っています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

カメレオンの誕生は1950年代。裏蓋にベルトを通すための空間があり、そこにベルトを通すだけで簡単に交換できるようになっています。ロレックスは世界初の試みで特許を取得し、当時の広告に 「the only watch in the world with a WARDROBE（世界で唯一ワードローブを持つ時計）」と謳いました。
