素材はコットン100%のデニム生地です。
生地には13.5ozのライトウェイトやや薄手デニムが使用されています。高密度に織られた丈夫な生地ながら、柔らかみもあり履き心地が良く、夏場を中心にオールシーズンで穿ける一本です。
この製品には、ウォッシュ加工がかけられています。ウォッシュですでに生地の縮みが発生しているので、洗濯後の縮みが少なくサイズ感が安定しているのも利点のひとつです。着用と洗濯を繰り返すごと生地がさらに馴染み、風合いが増し、美しい経年変化も楽しめます。
フロント前開きはジップフライ(ジッパーフライ)です。トップボタンにはリー・ライダースのロゴを刻印したオリジナルメタル釦が使用されています。
ポケット数は5つです。フロントポケット×2、コインポケット×1、バックポケット×2です。
フロントポケットとコインポケットはリベットで補強されています。無駄な突起を排除したリベットは、サドルなどを傷付けることのないように、リーが独自にデザインしたものです。素材には伝統的な銅を採用しています。
出し入れ機能を考慮したL型コインポケットは、乗馬姿勢でもモノが素早く取り出せるように考案された開口部が広く、深さは浅めにされたコインポケットです。Lの字を横に寝かせたように見えることからL型と呼ばれます。
ヒップポケットに施された曲線ステッチ「ホースマウスステッチ」は、荒馬のいななく囗の形をシンボライズしたオリジナルデザインです。焼き印をイメージして、レイジーSステッチと呼ぶカウボーイもいました。ヒップポケットの開口部両端に施したX字型の補強縫製はカウボーイのニーズに応えたスレッドリペットです。金属リベットが鞍などを傷つけるため、その問題を解消するために開発されました。ポケットロのラインは、真後から見るとVの字を描くようにしてあるため、ヒップアップして見える効果もあります。
